Case study

hr
Overview

A mid-sized family-owned and operated manufacturing company needed a full-time HR Director.

hr
Challenge

This was a newly-created role for the company, which can often be a bit of a learning curve for the hiring team as they figure out what they want. The HR Director also needed to be fluent in Spanish to assist with their many Spanish-speaking team members.

hr
VIVO SOLUTION

In addition to posting the job and reviewing applicants, we also proactively sourced passive candidates who appeared to have the required skills. We focused on candidates who listed being fluent in Spanish as a skill, as well as those who were in the same metro area as the client (due to this being an on-site role). This took additional time and effort to build a bench of qualified candidates using alternate online platforms.

hr
RESULT

After reviewing hundreds of applicants, conducting interviews, and vetting candidates, we sent eight highly qualified individuals to the hiring managers. The managers were pleased with the candidates’ quality and experience. VIVO stayed within the hiring team’s timeline and ultimately secured an excellent candidate who will be a valuable asset to their team.
